It has been such long time since I last wrote a post. Today, I just feel like sharing the latest photo of my son. He was enjoying his lunch when I took this photo (with mouthful of pan fried egg yolk with chopped mushroom and shredded cheese).
At 10 months old, he is still very 'petit' compared with other babies. He just recovered from his cold one week ago thus there has been no weight gain for the past few weeks.
This Chinese New Year (CNY) post is long overdue but I thought it would be nice to post something anyway.
To summarize, besides the two dinners with friends, we didn't do much for this year. Ian fell sick on the 4th day of CNY so basically the whole NY was spent taking care of him. And I was ill one week later so there gone our celebration. Check out some of our photos below to find out how we spent our new year.
Despite the unlucky start, let's hope that this rabbit year is going to be a great one, bringing joy and good luck to everybody.
Reunion dinner - vegetarian steamboat at friend's apartment
CNY 1st night - kailan beef, steamed fish, ginseng chicken soup, braised fish maw with pork ribs, butter prawn and roast duck. We had dinner at home with friends.

Little fellow spent half of his day in hospital after being diagnosed with bacteria infection which caused bronchitis. They undressed him because of the fever.

4 more days and little Ian will turn 4 months old. We are so happy to be blessed with this little angel who brings so much happiness in our life. May he continue to stay healthy and cheerful all the time.
Firstly, I have my husband to thank for taking a day off and for the gift. Although there was no surprise on this day, but you have showed us true love by taking good care of the family. You are the best 'ee oh' we could have asked for.
Next, my thank you goes to Ian for being a good boy and left us in peace the whole day. The only chaos was when you pooed the moment we began to enjoy dinner. Thank you also for bringing us the happiness that we treasure so much. You, yourself is already the best gift from god. Oh... and yes, you weighed 5.46 kg on my birthday.
In the list, there is of course our family to be thanked, for being so supportive along the way.
Finally, a special thank to all relatives and friends who left me a message on Facebook. Thanks for showing that you care.

10.30pm now... and the baby is making so much noise. Yea... Ian started to make strange sound since this evening ... as if talking in his own language. He is 2-month-old today and it is really a great mid autumn present to us.
We had a home-cooked dinner... as usual. Broccoli, papaya fish soup (haha... to boost milk supply), sweet vinegar spare ribs and steamed fish with soy sauce. After the dinner, hubby spent quite long time searching high and low for the paper lanterns that we brought over. We gave up after 2 hours of searching. Think we misplaced them somewhere. Sorry sis, it was a waste of effort sending me the candles.
A very quiet celebration indeed. Moon being blocked by another higher apartment, no lanterns, TV is on, baby is resting on hubby's tummy and me... drinking beer without alcohol (also to boost milk supply). Luckily I still have a green tea red bean moon cake to call it a Mid Autumn Festival. I really missed playing lanterns in grandma's house or going to TC with family.
